Posted by Porcshe N. Moran Earlier this month, my mom and I met up for a girls weekend in Ste. Genevieve, a small town in northeast Missouri that is known for its French colonial history and numerous wineries. We spent our two day trip at the beautiful Chaumette Vineyards & Winery resort which has luxury villas and suites, dining, a full-service spa, hiking trails, stocked lakes for fishing and an outdoor swimming pool with private cabanas. All of this is surrounded by rolling hills and lush valleys. We had breakfast and lunch delivered to our villa, got massages at the spa and had amazing dinners at The Grapevine Grill. I usually like to explore the cities that I visit, but Chaumette is so beautiful and serene, that we didn't leave the property until it was time to head home. Here's a photo essay of our weekend:
